I have to admit, I had read some negative reviews and was a little concerned, but I searched high and low for anything similar and just kept coming back to this, so I took the plunge and bought it. It is absolutely stunning and fits like it was custom made for me. I'm so glad I did it. It looks just like the picture and the fabric is amazing. P.s. I am not eating shoes in the photos and the dress is straight out of the box, hence the creasing

16 W Cabernet

I measured as a 18W however with an easy return process I was able to downsize to a 16W and a second swap to a 16 - which was more true to fit. The mulberry color was a tad lighter than expected so I swapped to the Cabernet (in the picture). Love this Cabernet color so much. It is a dark burgundy. Material is soft and silky, quality is very good. I would highly recommend paying for rapid shipping Incase you need to swap or replace.

Beautiful dress and the perfect color for my son's wedding. The dress was very well made. The only thing I would have changed is that the sleeves seemed a little tighter in the shoulder making arm movement a little more restrictive.

I was very very satisfied with this dress . I ordered Size US12 . Colour Stormy . The fit was perfect - beautifully sewn. The lace on the top sat 'just right' and the skirt just flowed . I feel like a ( somewhat older!) princess in it -The only little thing was it was slightly more a purplish blue than I thought it would be . But still cant wait to wear it to a very special wedding coming up No-one will have this colour - completely unique . Great service and delivery was fast . -

Purchasing my dress for my only daughter's wedding online very concerning for me. I read every review carefully and initiated a chat before making my final decision. So I hope by sharing my experience, I can assist future Mothers in their decision. I could not be more pleased with every aspect of this journey. I am Canadian and so delivery was one of main concerns. I ordered my dress and received it at my door thirteen days later; very impressive. As it did need to clear customs, future purchasers will need to be prepared to pay approximately 24% in charges.
The dress is gorgeous! I had it sized to my measurements to eliminate any fitting problems, as our timeline is tight, and it fits me perfectly, including the hem. The fabric and quality of construction is first rate ( and I was a sewing teacher). The colour was exactly as I had expected and overall, I am extremely pleased.
On a personal note, the only concern I have is with the built in bra. As I do have an aging, mother of the bride bustline, I found it uncomfortable and unsupported; a strapless bra has quickly remedied that very minor issue.
I would highly recommend JJ's House and am now exploring bridesmaid dresses on behalf of my daughter.

Wow, this dress is great! Instead of custom sizing, I determined my size from the helpful sizing chart and voila, the dress arrived on time and it fits perfectly. So very pleasantly surprised - this is an elegant looking dress.
Tip: Don't hesitate to order swatches for any colours you're considering, because phone and laptop screens don't always reflect the true colour. The swatch for this dress colour matched what I received.

Beautiful, well-made gown. Shipping was incredibly fast. I was looking for the perfect Mother of the Groom gown and I was having a hard time finding one at local shops. I decided to order this one and it was one of my best decisions that I have made. I did have this gown made to my body's measurements and it fits perfectly! The color that I chose was the Cinnamon Rose and the color is beautiful. So many color choices, it was a tough decision to decide on which one that I liked best. No regrets about my choice. I would not hesitate to order from this company again. Thank you so much!

Mother of the Groom dress for a spring wedding

I enjoy looking through the selection of dresses on JJ's House. My son is getting married in the spring so I have a little time but need to decide. It is so hard to decide which oneto buy. The dress is well made and so pretty.

Beautiful gown! I am a size 4/6 and this fit perfectly! No Spanx needed! Love the built in bra! Steamed the gown before the wedding, it wrinkles very easily. Wish I did not add an inch to the length because I did step on- even when not wearing shoes with 2" heels.
