It was a journey...

We will order from JJH again. We chose JJH for 2 outfits (one of them multiple pieces). First a Mother of the Bride dress (neutral shade, ballgown style - not for this review) & a Grandmother of the Bride pantsuit (in Navy) for a December formal wedding in Texas. Our 5 star rating here takes both purchasing/fitting/shipping experiences in to account. The rest of the review specifically references the Grandmother of the Bride order. We ordered the ensemble WELL ahead of the wedding date, it was custom ordered with Grandmother's measurements. We ordered shoes + a custom wool wrap lined with faux fur for the outfit as well (in addition to the chiffon wrap/jacket shown in the image) in the event it was cold the weekend of the wedding. If you do not know, the weather presently in Texas is just INSANE ... 82 (F) on a December morning and a 40 degree drop by the midafternoon. Never be unprepared.
JJH staff was diligent, courteous, effective and professional in communicating with us over the details & custom measurements for the pantsuit despite our time zone & linguistic differences. It was a real JOURNEY getting this outfit from an idea online to our actual garment bag - if JJH staff had not been diligent, courteous, effective and professional to the degree they were, I am quite unsure Grandmother couldn't have been this beautiful in dark blue. This particular Grandmother of the Bride has some mobility challenges in her senior years. We wanted her to be able to attend the festivities and look beautiful, but that beautiful style had to also be extremely safe in motion, keeping her feet clear for easier movement. And our tiny German Grandmother of the Bride is not as tall or so statuesquely proportioned as the lovely model shown on the website, so the bodice also had some slightly unorthodox measurements. The seamstresses immediately took notice of our submissions & got in touch with us to be certain we were measuring properly. Really. Very persistent.
We ordered this outfit knowing that we would most likely have to take it to a seamstress locally once we received and actually fit Grandmother in to it. And this was correct - there were a couple of spots where our lady is VERY petite and the garment could not be sewn to the exact size ahead of time. This was expected. It turned out to be correct. The custom-made outfit fit PERFECTLY in the most crucial places, we simply took it to our local tailor who quickly edited down the few places needing it. It was an exceptionally small additional cost to the total price of the garment and was only possible because we ordered so far ahead of time. All of the hand-stitched, highly detailed and structural elements of the top were flawless + elastic in waistline for comfort <3. Grandmother looked amazing. Thank you JJH. Will post event imgs once I receive them, wedding just took place.

I am not a dress type person but needed something for my son's wedding. This outfit caught my eye as it is both stylish and elegant. JJsHouse kindly let me place the order to take advantage of a sale price but held the order whilst I awaited a colour swatch to be sure about my choice. The outfit has arrived and it is so beautifully made. It fits very well, the top is boned and no bra is required. The lace is exquisite and the bead work adds that bit is sparkle. The jacket has beads sown all around the hem and cuffs and this is all done by hand. Thank you to the poor person who got that job!! I feel confident and elegant in this beautifully made outfit. I have had a fashion show for the friends and family who helped me make the choice and they have all said how gorgeous it is. It was promptly made and delivered too.

Loved the color of the dress. Unfortunately it didn't fit right - not your fault I ordered the wrong size but I am reordering the correct size. It will look beautiful at my Granddaughters wedding. I can't wait until I receive it back. I showed a few people and they said how Beautiful it is.

I received my outfit about a month ago. I bought it for my sons wedding. The wedding isn't till next October. So I have no photos to show. I was pleasantly surprised that the outfit was exactly as it was shown, on the web page. It is also, very well made, with great detail. Thank you JJS House, for your service. I am now in the process of ordering shoes and earrings!!

Ordered this for son's wedding Lovely colour with the various layers of royal blue Had custom size and fits perfectly. Very well made, the trousers are double lined and beads on jacket are hand stitched. Only one slight problem is that the outfit was very creased when it arrived but a minor problem

Amazing fit and quality

My mum ordered this for my wedding in September.
Being online and overseas we were a little worried as you hear such horror stories - WOW, this is AMAZING!!
The quality of the lace embroidered bodice is beautiful.
A little long in the leg but hey!
TOTALLY recommend this item.
If I knew the standards were this good I would have ordered my wedding dress/bridesmaids dresses off here.

Although outfit still in transit, the service so far has been excellent, and customer service 10/10.
I was emailed within hours of placing order to question sizing and they were correct i had got it wrong. They placed order on hold until i was remeasured and customer service waited until every thing was correct. I cannot fault them so far.
Have also ordered wedding wrap for daughter as so happy with company.
